Keeping it old school with the (re)purpose project today – greeting cards made with a patchwork motif.
In this age of electronic communication, what a treat it is to actually receive a handwritten note in the mail. I must admit I don’t write letters; never was very good at it even in the “old” days. However I do still send handwritten thank you notes just because I should. It is a personal thing to give and receive a gift whether it’s an item or an action, and in my opinion it’s a personal thing to take the time to write out a note on something pretty to “give back” to the gift giver.
Using just a small scrap of the quilt, I stitched it onto a blank card. Done! Dozens of these could be made within half an hour! Calling this a quick project is an understatement!
I stopped at three but many more will be in my future. These would make a great gift themselves stacked together and bound with a torn strip of the binding.
Don’t you just love 5 minute projects?!
xoxo, Faith
